Video Piggy is one of around 25 million different YouTube video downloaders on the market today. Although it's not the best we've seen, it's certainly not useless and provides a simple interface and configurable conversion profiles that allow you to instantly transform the format of your downloaded video for use on your portable device such as an iPod, PSP or mobile phone.
Unfortunately the maximum video is just 320 x 240 and you don't get any options to tweak the audio or video quality. The program also only allows you to download the movie in its original format, although there are separate features for converting to WMV, MOV, and MPEG. As a result, Video Piggy is not bad, but there are plenty more YouTube downloaders that offer more features.

Do NOT buy Video Piggy. I have also had to upgrade the program, and then had problems with the registration. And now I am again sitting here with a useless piece of registered software, but I never upgraded or re-installed it! It just stopped recognizing the registration code.(Plus it was having trouble pulling YouTube videos again.) Pros: When it works its great, Cons: but it seems to rarely work lately.

not good. I got Video Piggy about 3 years ago and for a while all was fine and every time he upgraded the software I would get an up grade then about a year and a half ago I got the message that my software was a trial version and that I had to pay again for its use. So I paid once again but sent the designer an email letting him know that I was unhappy to be asked to pay yet again. Well I never had anything back from him and now I went to use it to day to be told the same. This is a trial version please rejister. Well needless to say I am not going to pay yet again and have decided to remove it from my computer.Robert

VIDEO PIGGY PROBLEMS. I FIND video piggy very easy to use, but lately ive had problems it does not recognise the links from youtube i have written to the video piggy guy, on countles times about my problem but fails to answer me, i have got another programme which is free to do the job its called ( Xilisoft, ) its a pretty good programme and its free, ive give up on video piggy now and no doubt the creator has made his moneyand still is but not giveing a service with itkind regardsB,J,DEVLIN

Do NOT waste your time with Video Piggy!. The early version worked for a while until 'You Tube' changed their parameters.Video Piggy support answered my first enquiry and suggested I download the latest version.Since installing this new version my earlier registration was not recognised.I have made endless requests for a new registration and these have been ignored!WHAT A USELESS PIECE OF SOFTWARE!!!

Getting Ticked. Video Piggy worked fine, for awhile, then it stopped loading SOME videos. I've sent three Emails to support in the past three weeks, but NO response. Until this problem is ironed out, don't waste your money. Pros: Worked fine for a while. Cons: No longer loads video. No response from thier suppor.

Video Piggy. The software is al right but I have written over 5 times for the registration code because I had re-installed windows and they will not answer my e-mail. I guese that is what to expect when you are dealing with people that are only after the buck and have no interest in their customers ! Pros: Fast, not bad when it works Cons: No support at all
